An art education project with runner beans, Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein, 2023

The art education project "Lernen von Bohnen" takes place as part of the exhibition "Parlament der Pflanzen II" at the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein together with school classes from Vaduz. Regional runner beans are the central element for a growing sculpture. Using artistic approaches, we approach our plant allies together.
The pupils sow the seeds of the beans and accompany the plants in the pop-up gardens through the summer. Based on the growth stages, they realise different works that are integrated into the sculptures. The growing sculptures can be experienced both in the respective gardens and in the museum's side-lit hall.
Harvesting and cooking together is an important part of the project.
