An artistic-participative project for and with refugees, since 2023

Together with the residents of the Federal Asylum Centre (BAZ) Duttweilerstrasse, we have created two large flowerbeds in the Garten am Fluss planned, sown, planted and tended. In the meantime, weeding, sowing, planting, watering, marvelling, drawing, harvesting and celebrating have all taken place.
The flowers are the protagonists of the beds. Herbs and berries also grow. Flower seeds were also harvested. For many people at the BAZ and other refugees, the Blumenfeld am Fluss Excursion destination for botanical/culinary and drawing/painting workshops and serves as a place to relax.
